The federal government is undergoing a digital transformation to better serve the American people. This keynote explores the role of data in the digital transformation of two of the federal government’s largest agencies and most diverse missions, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Defense. State Department Chief Data Officer Matthew Graviss, PhD and Defense Department Chief Data Officer David Spirk (retired) discuss where the two agencies with complimentary missions overlap in the data space.
