Joe Depa, Global Lead of Data-led Transformation, Accenture
Joe is a Managing Director and the Global Lead for Data Driven Reinvention for Accenture, where he focuses on helping Fortune 500 clients cross industry leverage data to bring new products and services to market, fuel employee and consumer experiences, and ultimately help improve the way we work and live. He also serves as the interim Chief Data and AI Officer for a Fortune 100 company where his team is rapidly scaling a data driven organization, creating new businesses and products, and changing ways of working to drive growth and innovation.
During Joe’s tenure at Accenture, he has held a variety of leadership roles and built up a portfolio of specialties. Joe originally joined Accenture Interactive to stand up our Personalization and Customer Analytics offering, then lead Accenture’s Applied Intelligence largest market unit, where he grew it from 200 to over 400 data scientists, data engineers, and AI strategists. He leads a cross industry AI Roundtable with over 50 CDO and CIO’s from Fortune 500 companies. In addition, his work in precision medicine with Fred Hutch Cancer Research Center was recognized by Fast Company as a 2021 “World Changing Ideas.”
Joe holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters in Analytics from Georgia Tech and is passionate about helping to improve the way we work and live serving on the Board of Cure Childhood Cancer and St. Jude Family Center Services with a focus on advancing precision medicine.
