Denise Letcher, Chief Data Officer, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

Denise M. Letcher is executive vice president, chief data officer within Independent Risk Management for PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. In this role, she leads Enterprise Data Management, which includes Data Strategy, Data Risk, Data Lifecyle Management, Data Governance and Data Platforms; and serves as the Director of Corporate Insurance.

Letcher’s primary enterprise responsibilities include overseeing investment and delivery of the data warehouse, analytics infrastructure, and data quality and remediation; as well as data governance, including data risk metrics and aggregation, and driving data culture. As Director of Corporate Insurance, she ensures the group provides risk balanced insurance solutions.

Letcher has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to rejoining PNC in 2010, she was the Director of Risk Management Technology for both Wachovia and Wells Fargo. In those positions, she was responsible for compliance and operational risk, technology, and information strategy.

She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics, with a concentration in Accounting.
